Equipment Breakdown (Property Coverage) - This link provides an overview of the equipment breakdown coverage that is available on Great American's Agripak Farm and Ranch Policy. The equipment breakdown coverage fills important coverage gaps for farms, including mechanical breakdown, artificially generated electrical current, explosion of steam equipment, internal loss or damage to steam equipment, and internal loss or damage to water heating equipment. For the farm residence, the coverage includes mechanical breakdown, electrical breakdown (except brownout and power surge), and tearing apart, cracking, burning, or bulging of a steam or hot water system, or air conditioning system.
